Here's a couple new hairstyles I tried they were pretty easy and pretty cute.

Kyler finally had his first pinewood derby. He was pretty excited about it, even though me or Brent had never done one before and didn't really know much about it. We did find out thought that apparently you can buy the kit at Roberts that has the car already cut out, the weights, decor for the car, and instructions on what to do. That information would have been very helpful before the derby and not after, but we did all right. The kids that took first and second place both got their cars from Roberts. I think next year will be better.
Kyler got the award for The Most Realistic Car. He was pretty proud.

These are all the scouts who raced in the derby.

Here's the cool car.

The Birthday party

We had some of our family over and had a little party. We LOVE our family! Here's Brylee, Shelisse holding Taylee, Gabe, Cadence, Christian, Kyler, and Aspen. The girls wanted a horse cake for their Birthday, so here's the final product.

Usually we make a cake for each of the girls, but this year we did just one, but they didn't seem to mind.
The girls had a little friend party earlier in the day. We played lots of games and ate some cupcakes. They had a blast.
Best Friends Forever!

Brylee and Aspens 6th Birthday

I can't believe that my baby twin girls are already 6 years old. I still remember when I found out I was having twins. It was a complete shock, and a blessing. I can't imagine my life without these two wonderful little people. It definitely hasn't been the easiest, but they have been so fun. Heavenly Father always knows what's best for us, especially when we can't see it. These special spirits have brought us so much joy. The first year was kind of a blur. It was hard having Brent gone, but I am so grateful for my mom for helping me so much, especially at nights when I was by myself. I am truly grateful to be a mother and to have four wonderful, beautiful children. For all of you who know Brylee and Aspen, they are completely different. Brylee is fun, outgoing, likes to be in charge, emotional, very loving, sensitive, and she knows what she wants. Her favorite things to do is dance, play with our cat, go to Mcdonalds, eat candy, watch i carly, play with Aspen, help mom cook, and be in charge. Aspen is very caring, happy, a little shy, a great peacemaker, just goes with the flow and keeps people happy. She is my best listener and a great helper. She loves to play with Brylee, play soccer, baseball, and do anything outside. She loves pink and brown everything. She loves to draw, read, write and spell new words, learn and learn some more. I am so grateful for both of them. Thank you girls for teaching me so much. I hope you both had a wonderful Birthday!

I was looking back at some pictures of the girls when they were younger, and here's just a few. The girls and Kyler loved to dress up.

This is a typical Aspen and Brylee pose. Aspen was always happy, and Brylee not so much. She loved to stick out that bottom lip. Aren't they cute!

This was taken right after they were born. They were so tiny. That was a great delivery. Why couldn't they all be that easy?

This was in the hospital just a couple of days old. Everyone said Aspen looked Japanese and Brylee looked Mexican. They've never really looked alike.
