Easter at the cabin

How cute are these two. Brent rarely lets me take pictures of him, unless of course if it's with one of the kids Brylee loves this hair that she got at the Easter egg hunt. She really thought that people would think it was her real hair. What a character!

This year we went to the cabin in Otter Creek for Easter. Almost all of my family was there, which was really fun. We played games, ate, and ate some more, like usual. We went to an Easter egg hunt at the Rockin R dude ranch. Which was pretty fun. They had more kids than what they had planned, but what to you expect when the Blads show up. There's at least going to be 15-20 more kids. They gave away big Easter basket prizes and each kid got to pick a toy. These are the toys the kids picked.Having fun at the Easter egg hunt. The weather was great up there. So glad we missed the crappy weather in cedar on that day.
Kyler, Gabe, Christian, and Grandpa had fun fishing in the pond next to the cabin.

The trip was a little long on the way home and the girls were getting a little tired.
Brylee and Cadence were the biggest complainers. They weren't to happy i was taking their picture, but you can tell Brylee wasn't to upset about it. The trip driving to Disneyland ought to be fun.

Spring Break at Grandma Blads

I just had to post these cute pictures I took at grandmas h0use Easter week. My kids definitely love the camera. What a cute typical picture of Aspen. Her eyes disappear when she smiles, except for the little twinkle she always has.And another typical picture of Brylee and her mad face. One of which we see all too often. I have a feeling this one is going to be the hard one. I hope I'm wrong though. The hormones are already out of control and she's only 6!

This was on Kylers birthday. I never get in any of the pictures, cuz I'm always the one taking them. I think I don't like pictures, cuz it shows all too much reality. Ugh!

Gingerbread Houses

At our annual family Christmas party we like to make gingerbread houses. Last year we made them from scratch. They were yummy and fun, but way to much work! This year we just made them out of graham crackers and they worked just fine.

Brylee was so proud of her house.

Cadence was pretty much sick the whole weekend, but she still found it in her to load her house (and her mouth) with plenty of candy.

Aspen was also sick but she did a great job on her house.

It was so fun being with cousins and having a great time. Kyler missed out on the decorating because he went fishing. He still had a blast though!
